Mackenzie focused & firing heat! The Ramsay Lampman Rhodes Breakers 95 Bantam B girls fastball team was in Port Alberni for a ball tournament on May 15/16. The girls competed very well with everyone contributing at the plate and there were several "all out plays" on defense. It was spectacular to watch! After losing 5-3 to Cordova Bay (the eventual gold medal winners) in the opening game the girls won three games in a row ( 17-3 over View Royal, 7-2 over Fleetwood 94, and 4-1 over Sooke 94) to advance to the semi-finals. The team lost an exciting semi-final game after going to International Tie-Breaker against Duncan. However, the girls pulled together to win the Bronze medal game over Sooke.
